Returns and exchanges (online sales)

Still not completely satisfied with a product you purchased from us? If the product is undamaged, you can return or return it to our store within 14 days of receipt. The return costs to us, are at your own expense.

You have the choice of exchanging the product or having the purchase price refunded to your account. If you choose to exchange the product for one with different price, we will settle the difference with you. We will send a confirmation email after we receive your return package.

Sealed products:
Certain products we do not accept returns for hygienic reasons and cannot be exchanged unsealed. You can think of mouthpieces, reeds or cleaning items such as wipers and saxophone cloths. We sealed these items upon shipment.

Should you find a seal, you may return the item to us within 14 days, provided the seal is not broken. If the seal is broken, your order is final and the item cannot be returned.

Damage during shipment
It is our responsibility to deliver your item to you in good condition. All instruments are thoroughly checked before they go out the door: one of our specialists removes the instrument from its packaging, assembles it and will play it briefly to test that it is properly adjusted and free of manufacturing defects. Where necessary, we perfect the instrument so that you are always delivered an instrument in top condition.

Instruments and accessories are carefully packaged to minimize the risk of damage. If anything does arise during transportation, it will be at our expense. Therefore, until you have received the instrument in good condition and are fully satisfied with it, the responsibility lies with us.

Warranty and Repair
We only sell high quality products that we personally stand behind. All instruments/items we supply are thoroughly checked. If any of our items do become defective within an unreasonable period of time, please always contact us. If the defect is within the warranty period set by the manufacturer, we will ensure proper handling through the manufacturer. If it is out of warranty, we will find a solution together. We will always try to help you.

Payment
You can pay in our webshop in different ways:

Pay by bank transfer
If you choose to pay by bank transfer, you will need to transfer the purchase amount to our account yourself after completing the order. Please include the order number and/or invoice number, which you received through the confirmation email, with your payment. Once we receive the amount, we will notify you and we will ship your order.

Pay via iDeal
If you choose to pay via iDeal, you will be directed to a secure environment of your own bank. Here you will be asked to make a wire transfer, as you normally do through online banking. iDeal is available for the following banks:

We do not charge additional fees for payments with iDeal.

Delivery and Collection

Pick up in our store
You are welcome to pick up your order from us at our store in IJsselmuiden. To ensure, that your desired item is in stock, we ask that you contact us first by phone or email (info@brassatelierdewilde.nl).

Shipments within the Netherlands
We ship our orders with PostNL. Orders that are in stock will be shipped by us as soon as possible. In the unlikely event that a product is out of stock, we will contact you. Packaging and shipping costs for orders within the Netherlands are € 6,95

Shipments abroad
We ship orders all over the world. Shipping costs for small packages/orders to Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany are €15. For larger packages/orders, shipping costs are based on calculation by the shipping party. For the rest of Europe shipping costs based on calculation shipping party.

Shipping costs for orders outside Europe based on calculation (delivery time is +/- 1 to 2 weeks).

Do you prefer a different shipping method? No problem, just let us know and we will be happy to inform you about the various possibilities.

Ordering
Once you have selected an item, select (if relevant) the desired size/color/options and quantity. Your chosen item will then be placed in your shopping cart. If you want to complete your order immediately, click “Checkout.” If you want to add other products to your order, simply continue shopping and add new products to your shopping cart.

You can always see what you have chosen by clicking on “Shopping Cart” at the top right of the screen. When you have finished shopping, you will see a summary of your order in which you can still make changes if you wish. At checkout, you can let us know whether you want your order shipped or you choose to pick it up.

Your order will be confirmed by us by e-mail. You will also receive an email once your order has shipped.

In the unlikely event that we do not have your order in stock, we will notify you as soon as possible. In most cases, we can still deliver the product soon. You can then choose to still have your products delivered and otherwise we will refund your (purchase) payment.

Renting and leasing instruments
Renting is an ideal way to give yourself more time to determine if the instrument suits you.

When you rent an instrument from us, you pay a set rental fee + deposit for a 12-month period. After the rental period, if you wish, you may purchase the instrument you have rented upon payment of rental purchase price less the rent you have paid. E.g. you choose to purchase an instrument after 12 months. You then pay(purchase amount)euro –(rental amount+guarantee amount) euro =(remaining amount) euro.

If after the 12 months you are still not sure about your choice, you can extend the rental period for another 6 months. Should you choose to purchase the instrument after this second period, this second rental fee will not be deducted from the purchase price.

The instruments we rent are completely new or as good as new. As with all of our instruments we sell, the instruments are checked before they are rented out. Read more about installment plan here.

The store is located at Spoordwarsstraat 6K in IJsselmuiden, Overijssel. About 20km west of Zwolle.

Parking
You can park for free at our doorstep.

Public transportation
From Kampen train station we can be reached on a 10 to 15 minute walk.

Newsletter
We send a maximum of 1 – 2 newsletters per month. With this we will notify you of new items, special offers and announce our in house auctions. Should you wish to register for this? You will find a “register” link on the website.

Security and Privacy
Security and privacy are as important to us as they are to you. We ensure appropriate security of personal data. The personal data you enter is only used for the ordering process and we never exchange data with third parties…. The webshop is built on 1 of the world’s largest e-commerce platforms and its management and security is maintained by a specialized professional company.

Payments via iDEAL take place in your own familiar online banking environment and according to the same security requirements of your bank. You will go through the same steps as you are used to in online banking. Through a secure page (SSL page), your data is protected from third-party access.

Environment and Recycling
Taking the environment into account, we reuse packaging materials whenever possible. We pack each order carefully and ensure that your order is delivered in good order.
